The Egg & I Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

Good food & service. Good place for breakfast. The server was pretty attentive. The eggs were perfect and the potato wedges were awesome. The only thing I didn't like was the music. It was too loud and doesn't fit the atmosphere. The portion size was adaqute so don't go here looking for a huge breakfast.

We had heard great things about this place, so we decided to give it a shot. I'm not sure if it was just a bad day for the restaurant, but it was not a pleasant experience. The wait time was 20 minutes, which is fine, but many parties ahead of us complained they had been waiting for over an hour. As having previous experience as a server, I assumed the customers were merely confused by seeing empty tables which led them to not understand why there was a wait. Once we got seated it took 7 minutes for our drinks to arrive. My meal came out and was delicious; however, my fiancé ordered a skillet that was missing eggs. By the time out server came back to check on us, I had already finished my meal. When we got our check we were charged for a premium coffee we didn't order. All in all the good was good but the overall experience left me wanting to leave quickly. They may have been having a bad day, but I won't be returning.

After reading mostly good reviews, I finally checked it out this morning. Place was busy and waited about 15 minutes. Food was really good and reasonable priced. Really good different styles of eggs benedict with mushroooms. Only flaw was setup to pay bill at front next to line of people waiting for a table. Made for a cluster in the waiting area. Other than that, totally worth it.

My favorite place for breakfast or brunch. Have tried just about everything on the menu and all was great! Service is super friendly and fast. Would seriously go here every day but family is saying I'm boring and predictable. Too bad I love this place!!

Dark skin girl that works in front is very unprofessional and always look like she has a bad day. Slow at her work and always have a grumpy face. If u dont like customer service then go work in telemarketing.

Food is great. But I got a classes and races vibe. If your Caucasian you'll love it hear.

Disappointed in this place. I know they just opened but 50 minutes to get french toast and eggs that turned out cold. The eggs tasted like instants you find in the grocery store and french toast was ok, but not great.

Had a very delicious and enjoyable breakfast there today. Service was polite & prompt. Food came out expeditiously and was piping hot. Coffee was great. Eggs were fresh. I loved the whole wheat Apple pancake. The meeting room was in use today, by get this, regional Dunkin' Donuts managers. That's gotta say something. Excellent location, nothing like it in that area. Give them a try. We'll definitely be back.

Stopped in for a quick take out of bacon, egg and cheese on a bagel. Can I say PERFECTION? Love this place. Amazingly friendly, helpful staff. Going back as soon as I can.

I really wanted to like this place as i am a huge breakfast person. I could eat breakfast for dinner every day and be happy but this place was just decent. It was 60 degrees outside and they had the AC on blast. I was freezing and not very comfortable. Quiet dining room, great location but may be hard to find good parking depending on the time and day. Free wi-fi and outside seating which is nice. The food itself is okay. Edible and not horrible but slightly on the bland and dry side. Dennys would be a better option and it would be half the price.

My husband and I just moved to the state a week ago (nope, not retirees yet) and have begun our quest to find a host of new favorite fork spots. Being foodies, this is the first breakfast place to make it on our list! We popped in on a Sunday morning. Parking was a breeze, and we only waited 10 min for a table. FYI: If you need a table for more than two, your wait could be as long as 30 min. The environment is clean and welcoming. Our server, Kendra (high five), was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu. The menu will make you the most indecisive person in the world because there are so many things you'll want to try and all reasonably priced (unless you're a Denny's fan). After ordering, our plates arrived in less than 15 min- great timing considering how busy they were! I won't bore you with what we ordered, but I will say that both dishes were cooked well, seasoned properly, and brought to the table hot. Also, the manager was visible and active on the floor to ensure everything was running smoothly. Our entire experience was extremely satisfying and we're going back in the very near future... Like next Sunday. :)

Nice new place. They are a franchise. Which is probably why the food came off as processed like "ranch potatoes" (basically small fried squares of french fries) as their version of home fries. Ordered eggs over easy and got over medium. Staff was friendly. However, they couldn't grasp the concept of serving toast with the eggs (received the toast after third request) to eat with now cold over medium eggs. There were three tables at the time. Food was extremely average.......no home touch like " home fries". If that is type of place you are looking for, this is it. Otherwise there are numerous places in the city that serve breakfast and lunch with the home touch

Great food! Several different flavored coffees and a breakfast selection that makes it hard to choose what to order. Meeting room, wifi, and pet-friendly patio.

Went today (a Saturday) at 11:15. Told we had a 25 minute wait. In all actuality it was more like 15 minutes. We sat outside, once we were seated the waitress was there in about 2 minutes to take our drink order. I had a drink called a Key West Sunrise cooler. It was wonderful. My boyfriend ordered the hazelnut coffee and he received a carafe of it. It was delicious. For our entrees we ordered the Cambridge skillet and I ordered the Raspberry Granola Pancake. Both were amazing! The pancake is huge and comes with two eggs, cooked however you like them, and either ham, sausage or bacon and a side of raspberry yogurt as well as warm syrup. The pancake is cooked with raspberries and granola and easily is the best pancake I have ever had. The eggs were flavorful. The Cambridge skillet was diced ham, bacon and hollandaise sauce on a bed of delicious ranch potatoes with Jack and Cheddar cheese topped with two eggs cooked any style and an English muffin. Good prices for the portions. Service was great. Could not ask for tastier food. Can't wait to go back!

Tried this place out because it just opened in my neighborhood. Left hungry because after an hour nothing but coffee was brought to my table. What's crazy is that when the couple next to us spoke to us about their wait a waiter came over and instead of saying he'll check on our orders he said well other people are waiting at other tables too it's not just you. We decided to leave because I thought that was disrespectful. The manager came to speak to us and really had nothing to say. Maybe the food can safe this place but I'll never know because I won't be back.

Did take-out for Valentine's Day, my entire family got food poisoning, and was sick for two days! The only thing we all had in common was the eggs. I know it was crowded but they clearly cut corners somewhere. I would not recommend this place and I will definitely be contacting management!

So, after waiting 30 minutes to be seated and another 40 minutes to get our food, I believe that I may have experienced a terrible breakfast today. First, for a large(hah) OJ it was about the size of my palm, worse yet, for that size it was $3.19. I am a huge fan of biscuits and gravy, so that's what I ordered. It came with eggs, bacon and ranch style potatoes. I asked for over medium eggs, they came out greasy and hard. They set the biscuit dish on my bacon which was so over cooked that it crumbled into a million pieces. The biscuits themselves tasted stale, like they had been sitting for hours. The potatoes I ordered were supposed to be loaded. They came out plain. The waiter said he could fix the order but it would have to be re entered and would sit in the queue so it would probably take another 40 minutes to get them. So, he brought me some now unwanted shredded cheese. Don't think I will come back!

They get big points for originality. A number of dishes listed that I've never heard of before. Service was very good. Ingredients were above average. I would come back.

Great place! Eagerly anticipated the official opening this morning and was not disappointed. This place is set up for success. First impression is very favorable from the moment you enter you're greeted by the the friendly hostess and impressed by the attentive and efficient staff. The menu has an option for everyone's liking and the quality of the food is above average. There's a lot of turnover with restaurants in Coral Springs for whatever reasons, but I just don't see this one falling prey to that curse. I will be back for sure. Congrats to the owner and staff, see ya soon!

  • Malcolm G.

Service was great. Restaurant was clean. The food could be a lot better. Only breakfast place that doesn't have hash browns. Had the waffles, plain any recipe from the web will have more flavor. Considering the name, you would think the eggs were real not egg beaters. Scrambled eggs were spongy. It's a new breakfast place in Coral Springs so the "new car smell" is most of the hype.

I've become a regular here due to the cleanliness, staff, and ambiance. Great breakfast and lunch menu and they have a good healthy section on the bottom of the menu for those dieting. The French toast is a must have if its your first time! For great service ask for Portia or E.j. They are both on the ball. Overall great place to grab a bite during the day!

Today I went to the Egg and I. Overall, the food was pretty good, although it was slightly expensive. I got a cheeseburger and it was good. I asked for barbecue sauce and they said they didn't have any, the waitress being a nice person went next door to Ale House and got us some. The service and food was good. I plan on coming back another day

Went here this morning with my wife who has been here before and really liked it so wanted to take me here so I can try it. Now I know why she liked it the food and service was excellent my wife said the coffee she had both times she's been has been very good and she does not normally like any coffee except the one we have at home. Since I don't drink coffee I ordered a coke zero which is my favorite soft drink and when the drinks come out they bring the drink and a craft of the drink so you don't have to wait for refills this was a pleasant surprise and a great idea as I hate to have to wait for refills from wait staff that doesn't automatically refill the drinks. Place was also very clean. I ordered the Mexican omelet which wad different but very good I will warn you it does have a little bit of a kick to it so if you don't like spice I wouldn't recommend it buy I like spicy food so it was fine for me. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is they did not ask for my I.D. when I paid with my card which says to do so and as you all know I automatically deduct 1 star for that as it bothers me

i just went today which is saturday and it was pretty busy. it took 10 min for the waiter to come to our table after we sat. it took over 20 min for them to bring our food, which was a simple order of eggs and a waffle. we had only 2 people in our party. we asked for the bacon well done, it was just cooked regluar and seemed like it has been reheated, we sent it back. the rest of the meal was mediocre, we were about to leave after we finished and realized the waiter never brought our bacon back. so we finally get it back and it still wasnt crispy, but it was cooked more, just seemed like everything wasnt fresh. the experience was not good at all and most likely will not go back, but they did take one of our meals off the bill for the inconvenience which was nice

This place was amazing. We came in on a Saturday morning around 10ish and were seated immediately. The restaurant had cute signs and decorations. The hosts were dressed kind of fancy considering they were working in a breakfast diner, but I really liked it. I liked the different atmosphere that this restaurant had. I felt like I was in a fancier breakfast place (like Turning Point, but most people down in Florida have never heard of Turning Point)... Not just in an average diner. The cinnamon roll French toast was AMAZING. It was super sweet and had cinnamon butter and cream cheese icing. It was awesome. The Texas skillet was also pretty good. The steak in it was yummy. The coffee was also very good. The service was also great. I had asked for my skillet to be made without one ingredient, and they made it the wrong way. I kept my eggs and English muffin while my server took the skillet that the cooks had messed up on and brought it back to the kitchen to be remade. Despite the fact that I had already eaten my eggs and toast, the cooks made me a brand new breakfast with new eggs and toast. Greatly appreciated. 5 stars.

Nice breakfast restaurant in the Coral Springs area. I loved the Greek Omelet I had, which I was able to request made with egg white. The Hazlenut coffee was really good, and service was fast and friendly. The only reason I am not giving this place 4 stars, is because there were flies (we were seated inside) and it was very distracting shooshing them and keepig them from our meals. I would come back tough.

On my first visit I had the Parisian Benedict. This time I had the bacon avocado chicken sandwich. Both meals were very good. The service is good and there are always tables available. It's becoming our new favorite breakfast place!

Went here around 11am, place was busy but we wanted to try it. Took about 30 minutes to get seated. The restaurant is a chain, something to factor in when coming. Drinks came with a carafe which is nice, basically gives you a refill. I ordered the Cambridge skillet, diced ham, crisp bacon and hollandaise sauce on a bed of ranch potatoes with jack and cheddar cheeses and two over medium eggs. Oh and I had it topped with sausage gravy. Also comes with an English muffin. The girlfriend ordered the Viva la France French toast, comes with 2 eggs as well. Food took about 20 minutes to come out and potatoes were a little undercooked but an overall decent experience.

Today I decided to eat at The Egg & I. Today is Sunday, August 30, 2015. Upon being seated at a booth and reviewing the menu I was offered a drink and my server noticed I already had a drink (from Starbucks down the street). Very observant of my server. I felt at ease because with the anticipated Tropical Storm Erika dissipating yet rain flurries in progress, perhaps, the place was not overly crowded and the beautiful sounds of JOHN DENVER music was playing on muzak. Love John Denver's songs! My water with lemon came in a cute and plentiful Carafe with lemons in it accompanied by a full glass of Ice Water. Impressive beverage service. Trying to order I answered my server's question about whethet I was ready to order yet by telling my server that "close to ready" but had a couple of quick questions because it was my first tine eatibg here. To that I was told "Take Your Time" and it seemed he was going to walk away instead of help me to order. Right away I said "I can't take my time; I'm hungry." I asjed about bread options and was, able to order. I really don't like being tild to "take my time." Sort of gives the impression that my server is working against me instead of with me. My first impression of the food itself is that the egg is not really "King" here, as its name would suggest. Fearing the ham would be of low quality I opted for the Egg Sandwich with bacon and its mayo and tomato and cheese minus the ham and asked for a Wheat Bread instead of the Sourdough White bread described on the menu. I was never asked how my eggs should be cooked as most of the discussion when ordering revolved around leaving off the ham and which bread type after which my server quickly left to order my order. As I began to wonder how my eggs would be prepared (method of preparation) and [wonder] why I wasn't asked I decided I was going to hope for the best. The sandwich came and it was edible but the Bacon was missing and the cheese was not melted. It would have been nice if the cheese was melty. I determined that the eggs were prepared Fried Over Well (over hard). As long as this is an egg restaurant and eggs can be cooked so many ways, shouldn't the guest be asked to choose that all-important detail? I quickly came to the conclusion that this $9.00 plus sandwich is overpriced but I would absolutely recommend for any diner who comes here to try the loaded Ranch Potatoes as part of their meal. I do not plan on going back here any time soon because I could prepare the same dish at home with bacon on it for a fraction of the cost.

So this place is happening on a Sunday morning that's for sure. Waited 25 mibutes, didn't take advantage of the coffee and water bar set up outside for people waiting. Ordered hazelnut iced coffee, very good. They bring you the coffee in ice and let you add the cream and sugar. For food I ordered something similar to Juevos Rancheros, eggs, beans, salsa, sour cream, guac, spicey chorizo which I barely found any of unfortunately. My side of French Toast got cold, didn't bring syrup with it. Tried waiting for my waitress, ended up flagging someone else down. Pretty standard french toast, but they do have a bunch of other options that sounded good. I love breakfast, and they have a lot of meals I want to try. Since its not to far from home and options are slim I'll be back. Maybe not a Sunday though.

The "Egg and I" is an excellent new breakfast spot here in Coral Springs. With an expansive menu, great food, and excellent service you'll really enjoy this place. One thing... There is frequently a line to get a table and you may have to wait a few minutes to get seated. I came to the "Egg and I" late on a Saturday morning looking for a casual brunch. I'll apologize in advance for not taking pictures, by the time I thought of it, my plate was already half gone. Seeing 10-20 people outside, I knew there would be a wait but this is typically a good sign so we decided to put our name in and wait. After being told 20 min. I got some of the free coffee they offer guests awaiting tables and was happy to hear our name called after only 5 min. After being seated, our drink orders were placed quickly, and I looked over the expansive menu. Being a Eggs Benedict lover I had to try the "Parisian Benedict", a variation of the classic dish made with a croissants instead of English Muffins and a few other twists like sautéed mushroom and Swiss cheese. I have to say....it was absolutely fantastic!! Wow! My g/f had the "Viva la France" French Toast, which was considerably less amazing. It wasn't bad but it was pretty much your standard fare, nothing special. For me, I don't like standard French toast (bread slices briefly dipped in egg and pan fried) because I've had amazing French toast (see my review for Sage) and much like great sex, it's hard to go back to ordinary once you've had amazing. :-) I will also add (updating my review) that the coffee here is very good. I'm not sure why or what they use, but it was excellent and I really enjoyed it. Overall the food was very good, the service was excellent (even the manager brought syrup when we asked for it), the decor is quite pleasant, and the entire place was very clean. I'm really happy to find a new breakfast place here in CS and I'll definitely be back. A well deserved 4 Stars!!

YAY! I'm a fan. If you've read my other reviews, or if you're simply from Coral Springs, you know that there is a huge shortage of things to do and one thing that most people from Coral Springs cannot do is BRUNCH. But now, here we are. Introducing, brunch at it's absolutely finest in the local area of CS, the Egg and I. The service was awesome. We had a very nice, younger waitress who was personable and polite and quick. We got eggs...lol...a lot of eggs benedict type items with twists on them, and I was not disappointed. The presentation of the food is good and the food itself is better. Also, TRY that mocha iced coffee thing (sorry, I don't remember the exact name, I just saw it on one of those pictures and said, "I WANT THAT.") It is delicious. And you get one free refill of it, not that I even needed it. They also have regular coffee, obviously, pancakes, toast, fruit, etc, the regular breakfast items you'd expect. The environment is cute, kind of cozy. I'm not going to lie, when you first walk in, it definitely feels like a place for an "older crowd," if you will, but if you are younger, do not let it discourage you. It's a great breakfast spot. Not super fancy, modern or sleek, but the main staple is the food. The only other possible downside is how little it is open. If I'm not mistaken, I believe they are open for early-late breakfast only and not lunch, but I'm not sure if that has changed. I thoroughly enjoyed it and enjoyed my experience here. It's a flourishing new restaurant.

I decided to come to Eggs & I because I didn't want to go to IHOP. When I first walked in, there was no one in front. We waited for few minutes and was given a table to sit in. So, me being the first time coming here, I went on Yelp and saw what was good. So I decided to get the Parisian Benedict. Also made my own egg omelet. Also a glass of OJ. The Parisian Benedict was so good!!! LOVED IT!!! Will most likely get it again. The omelet was great as well. (Try their hot sauce with it. Better than Ketchup.) However the OJ that I got was really bad... It tasted old and sour... Place looks clean, however the only drawback of the place is the flies... THEY ARE EVERWHERE!!! Annoying when your eating breakfast. I WOULD LOVE TO COME BACK.

I have to say that I was really excited about this place before showing up, not just from what I had heard and others' yelp reviews, but because I genuinely love breakfast fare. Here is a restaurant that is cashing in on the "morning/day" cafe craze that is going on currently. Well, as you can guess, almost all of the dishes here somehow feature and egg or three into the mix, the product being just ok. The food could be better, but overall quality isn't bad.. just.. ok. There were three of us and we had The Spinach Bacon Mushroom Omelet, The Chicken Apple Sausage Scramble, and Santa Fe Huevos. The omelet wasn't bad, a had a nice twist with the hollandaise sauce. The Chicken Apple Sausgae Scramble was good, though the toast with it was burnt. The flavor of the Chicken Apple Sausage was a nice surprise, and also one of the healthier picks on the menu. The Santa Fe Juevos are basically scrambled eggs piled onto a small tortilla with black beans and cheese topped off with guacamole and sour cream. All around the food here isn't bad, but a solid mediocre. Management could try to make themselves more useful in this place. It seemed like there were several of them trolling around taking turns staring at things when they could've done a lot more expediting and customer service. This place probably cranks out some good meals here and there, but we found it to be meh.

Just back from the Egg & I and i was underwhelmed. I ordered the Mexican Omelette with a side of ham although the omelette was flavorful it was very flat you would think being in a breakfast place you would get a nice fluffy omelette stuffed with the ingredients you ordered well this is sadly not the case when you pay 10 bucks for an omelette they should't skimp on ingredients. It had hardly any chorizo in it and the less then a teaspoon of the green pork topping. they also forgot my side of ham and my server noticed that and had to put in a reorder. I was hoping to really like this place since I live near by and like going out for breakfast sometimes but this place was a let down.

Very nice experience Wife and I had. After waiting about 10 minutes to be seated for breakfast the service was good and the food was mostly good too. Wife had a "Create Your Own Omelette" with Havarti dill cheese, mushrooms and avocado. She loved her omelette and awesome grits. I had the Corned Beef Hash and 2 over mediium eggs. While I did not care for the hash, the eggs were cooked just to my liking. In defense of the chef, I found out that the CB hash was actually prepared from scratch at the restaurant. I had never had that type of hash and my wife tasted and loved it. So...basically it was my bad taste. Service staff was excellent and very cordial. While this place is fairly new, we will be going back any time we want a nice breakfast. A rarity in this area to have a good breakfast restaurant.

Overall it was just ok. My dish was a healthy choice but really lacked flavor felt I couldn't made something better at home. .Y wife got biscuits and gravy which I tried and it was pretty tasty. Our waiter was nice and friendly but it definitely seemed like there was a cluster of confusion, bitterness amongst the wait staff, the front of house folks and management... ppl always were making snippy comments.

This is my second time here First time the service was excellent as was the food Today the food was very good but the food took a long time. Seems like it was the waiters issue because other were getting their meals quicker. The waiter never came back to check on me & I sat there for almost 10 minutes waiting on the check The hostess had no personality & was on the verge of being rude giving change while paying the bill

Best Dine in experience for Breakfast in Coral Springs! Went for brunch on a Saturday morning enjoyed the complementary coffee before we were seated. It was my first time trying a Parisian Egg Benedict and it was beyond amazing. I'm not much of a breakfast person, but I extremely enjoyed this savory dish, the hollandaise sauce was so yummy! My mother ordered the TexMex Skillet which I will definitely order next time! It's also a benefit that they have outdoor seating, I definitely plan on brining my cute little dog Fluffy next time so she can enjoy the great food as well!

The staff here is very nice and deal with horrible management and direction the best they can. My kids and I waited for a while but the staff was graceful in trying to keep us comfortable. The waitress was nice but I can tell she was overwhelmed.. Food was good but overshadowed by the fact that it was cold and my coffee cup was dirty...so the manager removed a meal...I still tipped the waitress for the entire meal as I witnessed guest walking out and the manager looking completely frazzled... I think under new management this place will be amazing....probably not returning till then.

To be fair I came here on Mother's Day for brunch so it was very crowded and took about 45 minutes to get our food after ordering. That being said what I ordered was good. I ordered the raspberry granola pancake which came with eggs and bacon. Bacon was good and crisp. My husband ordered an omelet. He didn't love his omelet because the meat was all on one side and the other side was just plain eggs. Other yelp reviews mention getting a carafe with extra soda etc which we didn't get. They serve drinks in very small glasses and the carafes are totally necessary otherwise you're always looking for a refill from the server.

Excellent food! I had the Colorado scramble with added potatoes and it was excellent. My friend had the Belgian waffle and loved it. My only complaint is the price on drinks and any added orders are too high. The large drinks are very small and way overpriced.

Eggpalooza As I was reading the menu from the recently opened the Egg & I Restaurant, a scene from Forest Gump went through my mind: Bubba was telling Forrest about all of the different shrimp dishes he wanted to make. "There's, um, shrimp kebabs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo, pan fried, deep fried, stir fried...." I think these guys replaced the shrimp with egg at this place because there are two pages on the menu dedicated to the almighty egg. I have a confession to make: I hate eggs. You see, I was traumatized as a little boy by some jerk kid whose name was probably Johnny who told me eggs were baby chickens. At the tender age of 7 or 8, I stopped eating eggs. With that said, I cannot personally comment on any of the egg dishes and never will. Now you're probably wondering why I'm in a restaurant named after a food I don't even eat, and that's because fellow Yelper Ron M, told me he ate there and liked it. The Food My son ordered a chicken, cheddar cheese and sausage omelet with an English muffin and ranch diced potatoes. My son has never tried eggs, so this was his first time and he loved it. He also loved the roasted diced potatoes. I stole his English Muffin. Why? Because when it came out, I knew right away it was probably grilled on a flat top. The butter was perfectly melted and there is only a few ways that can be done 1. A butter wheel. 2. Brushing the muffin with melted butter after toasting it. 3. Buttering the muffin and the placing it on flat top grill. If you love buttered English muffins, this one is solid. I got the Flapper (one huge wheat pancake) a side of bacon, a side of sausage patties, and the loaded potatoes. The pancake was huge and delicious and one little scoop of butter was in the middle and I spread it all over. Next up, the syrup. I grabbed the dispenser and guess what? The syrup was warm. I loved that. Very few breakfast joints offer warm syrup but they should. It's a cozy touch that improves a dish. I cut a piece of the pancake then fork a piece of the sausage. Yummy, yummy, yummy. I love the word yummy. I took the other piece of sausage and slipped it between the English muffin. Boom! I took a huge-ass bite and I'm a happy man. The sausage tasted like it has some Allspice in it. The loaded potatoes were another pleasant surprise. Diced potatoes tossed in a ranch seasoning covered in salsa vera and shredded cheese. Not too shabby, but it was salty. I mixed everything up and it took a little of the saltiness out. Ambiance This place looked fantastic, and I really liked how they designed it. It smelled brand new, the colors are bright, the background music is nice and mellow and the bathrooms are sparkly clean. You would never know this space used to be a Spanish restaurant or a grilled cheese bar. Our server was eager to make food suggestions and was very friendly. The manager stopped by twice and checked on us. I made sure to tell him that we loved everything and thanked him. He said, thank you and I'll see you tomorrow. I laughed when he said that because it was nice response from him. Verdict I'm on a streak! Two new restaurants have opened up in Coral Springs, The Cook and The Cork and the Egg and I - and I love them. I don't think I ever typed that many "ands" in a row. I want to thank Ron M for recommending that I try this joint. He said it was good, and he was right. Remember to tell them Ron and Dan sent you. Stay Hungry!

My new favorite breakfast spot. I had the Parisian Benedict which was so delicious that I wanted to kick my plate clean ( unfortunately there were other people around so I couldn't ) My husband had the corned beef hash, which he really enjoyed. I also tried the hazelnut coffee, very yum. The service was quick and friendly, we'll definitely be back

First visit here. We were greeted and sat immediately. Asked for coffee and our server mentioned that the iced was stronger, so of course we chose iced. The food took a little longer than it should have but we weren't in a rush. My boyfriend ordered a breakfast burrito that he really enjoyed, I got an omelette. It was okay. We got the bill and learned that they charge for each refill of iced coffee. Neither server that took care of us told us that, which we did not appreciate. Definitely should give a heads up.

Dropped in for a Valentine's Day breakfast and we weren't disappointed. Seated immediately and Stephanie showed up within a minute to take or drink orders. The menu is extensive, with the focus on eggs....hence the name. When it comes to eggs, I'm particular, omelette or scrambled, you can keep your oozing runny poached, sunny side up let the yolk contaminate everything on my plate eggs..... they're not me. I ordered the Wisconsin Scramble, the cream cheese a nice touch. The ranch potatoes were tasty and the English Muffin was delicious, better all the way to the edges! My dining partner was all about the Biscuit Eggs & Gravy with cheeses grits, they offered no complaint. the place was packed and our food was out in less than 10 minutes...plus the manager came over to apologize for our 10 minute wait, nice touch. Both of us felt the meal was delicious, no doggie bags. For recently opening they seemed to have everything under control. I hope they make it, not sure if I would stop in for a weekday breakfast, but possibly a weekday business lunch. I'll be back. P.S. Nice touch, a Carafe' of Diet Coke.

The only reason this place got one star is because you have to give at least one. We waited over 45 for a salad and a couple of eggs. After 30 minutes of waiting we called over the manager who said our ticket had only been rung in a few minutes ago. He said we were still 3 orders back. Our server was walking by(she hadn't been to our table since we ordered) and when we asked her what the delay was she said she had to "freaking" ring in two other orders before mine. By the way, my children were right there. We waited 15 more minutes for our food to come and then we left. Bad service. Dirty restaurant!

My wife and I went for breakfast Saturday and were very disappointed. I hate to give bad reviews but after 5 days of thinking I am still angry and will never return. I ordered the Biscuits and gravy which was a tiny portion for $10 and it tasted like dog food, the bacon was cold and tasteless, the grits and eggs were ok. My wife could not even eat her meal. I did eat everything because I am a big guy and left hungry. They bought me a check for $28 for a meal I hated. I told the cashier we were unhappy and I explained that I was going to leave a bad review. An older female manager was standing right there and did not even ask if she could help, I was talking softly because I did not want to create a scene. Bottom line is stay away from this place. It is very pretty inside and the menu is written so well our mouths were watering, unfortunately the food does not match the menu.

This place was nice and I had a nice pancake meal. I was disappointed that there was no cappuccino or espresso based drinks available. It's 2015 and I think everyone should have an espresso bar. The complimentary coffee at the entrance was a nice touch considering we had a wait for our table (only ten minutes though!)

Dark skin girl that works in front is very unprofessional and always look like she has a bad day. Slow at her work and always have a grumpy face. If u dont like customer service then go work in telemarketing.

Went here for breakfast and a good experience. My awesome server, Emerson recommended the Viva French Toast with eggs, and it was very good. The restaurant was clean, the food was hot , but it took a little long to come out of the kitchen. Not the servers fault though, he was really good. I will definitely ask for him when I go back.

Did take-out for Valentine's Day, my entire family got food poisoning, and was sick for two days! The only thing we all had in common was the eggs. I know it was crowded but they clearly cut corners somewhere. I would not recommend this place and I will definitely be contacting management!

This is our new breakfast staple since our move! Love the hazelnut coffee and the chicken apple sausage scramble! Always very friendly service here too!

Excellent food! I had the Colorado scramble with added potatoes and it was excellent. My friend had the Belgian waffle and loved it. My only complaint is the price on drinks and any added orders are too high. The large drinks are very small and way overpriced.

No sweet tea. Why is it so hard around here to find sweet tea? The food was ok. Average at best. I definitely wouldn't need to come back here. There are much better places in the area.

Excellent food. However, the wait is double what they tell you. The entire time I sat and ate my breakfast, there were 5 tables un sat. Uh hello management? Unbelievable.

First time eating at The Egg & I and I must say that everything was delicious, and the service was great as well. We had that Create it yourself omelet, Colorado omelet and the Ali Baba pancake for the little one .

Did take-out for Valentine's Day, my entire family got food poisoning, and was sick for two days! The only thing we all had in common was the eggs. I know it was crowded but they clearly cut corners somewhere. I would not recommend this place and I will definitely be contacting management!
